Aline Ntumba
A young Congolese woman who left Belgium at the age of 22 years old to study in her dream city, London.
I always knew I wanted to live in London. When the opportunity presented itself, I took the leap of faith and left Belgium to pursue a life here.
Little did I know, my journey was not going to be smooth-sailing. Through debt, tears, guilt and never-ending questioning, I eventually realised what my purpose was.
I concluded that I wasn’t the only one looking for answers and I wanted to be a voice. I wanted to speak for all the people who, just like me, were finding their way through this overwhelmingly beautiful city.
